RICE LAKE, Wis. (NWN) – Thursday afternoon was a busy day for local police.
While police were responding to the swatting threat and lockdown at Marshfield Medical Center, a caller at Rice Lake’s Walmart reported a man allegedly threatening to shoot people while having payment issues.
Also during the hospital lockdown, drivers near Taco Bell in Rice Lake reported a man causing a disturbance in the area.
Earlier Thursday afternoon, a vehicle struck pedestrians in the parking lot of Subway on South Main Street. A source at the scene said a driver struck a woman and two children, with at least two of the three requiring transport to the hospital.
No other information about the incidents were immediately available from local authorities.
