MADISON, Wis. (WRN) — At the Capitol, Democratic lawmakers say they’ll work to reinstate Wisconsin’s version of C-SPAN, WisconsinEye.
“Transparency is an essential part of a functioning democracy at a time when we need to be building trust in state government, when we need to be demonstrating that government can and must be a force for good, this is a step in the wrong direction and it erodes the public’s trust in this institution,” said Assembly Minority Leader Greta Neubauer:
Neubauer says she hopes Republicans will be willing to work with them to get the service back up and running. WisEye needs to raise $250,000 to start operations again.
