Neighbors Protecting Neighbors Consumer Protection Outreach Event at the School District of Turtle Lake, 205 Oak St N, Turtle Lake, WI 54889. Enter at Door 2 and go to the IMC on the 2nd Floor on Monday, January 26, 2026, at 6:00PM. Admission is free! There will be a presentation on common scams, how to avoid common scams and fraud, and how to be aware of imposter scams.
You will learn the following:
1. Stop and think. Scammers create panic, real organizations don’t.
2. Double-check. Call your bank or family member directly.
3. Spread the word. Protect friends, family, and senior citizens.
