Česká Opera House: Spring Variety Show

A Spring Variety Show will be presented 7:00 p.m. at the Česká Opera House in Haugen on Friday, April 11.  Tickets are $12 per person.  Reservations for seating are encouraged, but not required, and may be obtained by calling 715-234-7458.

The show features talented regional musicians and corny comedy skits by Česká Opera’s Mighty Uff-da Players.

Musical entertainers scheduled for the evening include youth performer Fiona Cooková of Stevens Point; the Haugen act of “Booker Fraudger”; Haugen songstress Mary Ann “Sparky” Barrett; guitar minstrel “Wire” of Cameron; accordion players Brent Harings of Rice Lake and Bob Seckora of Trego with Brock Hames of Haugen; vocalist Gail Lynum of Trego accompanied by pianist Kathy Schultz of Rice Lake; the barbershop quartet The Getaways comprised of Ken Gonske, Lee Johnson, Tom Overby and Mark Nelson; and, the regional ensemble Squirrel Cage.

Hostess for the evening is Sally Baumberger.

Other programs scheduled at Česká Opera House are Hay River Sisters May 9; Home Again September 5; Fall Variety Show October 3; and, Christmas Show December 5.  All shows are $12/seat, except the Christmas Show, which is $15/seat, and tickets may be reserved by calling 715-234-7458.
