Hunt Hill Nature Center: Beasts & Beer
April 2 @ 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM

Hunt Hill Nature Center will be hosting a Beasts & Beer program at Washburn County Wellness Center 50+ in Spooner, WI on Wednesday, April 2, 2025. Check-in is at 5:30 pm with an opportunity to socialize with other nature enthusiasts before the nature presentation begins at 6:00 pm. This month’s topic is Monsters of the Lake.
Beasts and Beer is a monthly program that gives nature lovers an opportunity to socialize with other nature enthusiasts over snacks and beverages and enjoy an engaging presentation from a local expert in a happy-hour atmosphere. Each Beasts and Beer program features a different presenter at a different location. This venue will be serving mocktails, NO alcoholic beverages.
This month’s speaker is Northwest Hatchery Group Leader, Neal Rosenberg. His job and the talented team he oversees takes him many places, which gives him the unique advantage to present on Monsters of the Lake. At this presentation, we will uncover some of the mysteries of lake aquatics and fascinating fishes and fisheries.
Mocktails will be along the lines of an Italian soda, with sugar and sugar-free options, made with a variety of syrup, club soda, cream or half & half, with some fun embellishments on top.
Registration is required by Tuesday, April 1st at noon or when the program limit of 90 people is reached, whichever comes first. To register, visit www.hunthill.org to complete online registration or call 715-635-6543. The program fee is $16 per person and includes a drink and snacks.
