Stanfold Lutheran Church: Headin’ Home Bluegrass Concert

Stanfold Lutheran Church will be hosting a special concert on Monday, July 28 at 6 PM in the pavilion.  Headin’ Home is a family band hailing from Bloomingdale, GA, near Savannah. The group consists of Jon Lindblom, dad, on upright bass and vocals; Marina Lindblom, mom, on fiddle; Luke Lindblom, 24, on dobro and vocals; Libby Lindblom, 22, on guitar and vocals; Lucy Lindblom, 20, on mandolin and vocals; and Timothy Lindblom, 18, on banjo. This seasoned family band is a refreshing burst of youthful energy, red-hot picking, chilling vocal harmonies, an entertaining stage show, and uplifting, faith-based music rooted in the traditional bluegrass sound. Their repertoire is a fascinating fusion of both traditional and original material.

This concert is enjoyed in an outdoor setting on the picturesque grounds of the Stanfold Lutheran Church located 5 miles west of Rice Lake on Highway 48.  The performance will be in the Centennial Pavilion.  Seating will be available, but feel free to bring your lawn chairs as well.

Admission is free.  The public is invited to attend.  A free-will offering jar will be available for those wishing to donate to the expenses of Headin’ Home.
