Walk for Lives Rice Lake

Families, friends, and community members will gather for Walk for Lives, a fentanyl awareness and prevention walk dedicated to honoring lives lost, supporting those impacted, and taking a stand against the deadly fentanyl epidemic.

Fentanyl, a powerful synthetic opioid, is the leading cause of overdose deaths in the United States. The Walk for Lives event aims to bring visibility to this crisis, provide education and resources, and empower communities to take action

Approximate length of walk:  2.5 miles

Participants will walk in solidarity to remember loved ones lost, raise awareness about the dangers of fentanyl, and advocate for stronger prevention and support programs. Local leaders, health professionals, and families personally impacted by fentanyl are expected to share stories of loss, resilience, and hope.

The event is open to the public, and all are encouraged to participate. Refreshments, presentations, resources, educational materials, and support services will be available on-site.
