MADISON, Wis. (WRN) — Seven dairy companies across Wisconsin are receiving grant funding.
June is Dairy Month and Governor Tony Evers and the Department of Ag, Trade and Consumer Protection awarded grants to assist local dairy processors to modernize and grow their businesses. The funding can also help produce new products, expand markets, improve profitability and sustain long-term viability.
Evers is proposing to increase funding for the Dairy Processor Grant Program by an additional $1.2 million in his 2025-27 executive budget.
