MADISON, Wis. (WRN) — The Festivus Pole has returned to the Wisconsin Capitol.
Tucked away on the second floor of the rotunda, the Wisconsin made pole is a reference to the holiday invented by Frank Costanza, memorably played by Jerry Stiller on the TV show “Seinfeld.”
A big part of Festivus: the Airing of Grievances.
“I got a lot of problems with you people. Now you’re gonna hear about it!” said Costanza on the show.
A sign next to the pole invites you to text your grievances to 608-618-2851, and to drop donations at Second Harvest bins around Madison.
