BARRON, Wis. (WJMC) — An attic fire damaged a home on Saturday evening, according to Barron County 911 dispatch logs.
The fire was reported just before 6:15 p.m. on Saturday, on Highway 25, immediately north of Hillsdale. A passing motorist first reported the fire, then a person at the residence reported the attic caught fire and everyone was out of the structure.
Barron-Maple Grove Fire Department responded and was assisted by Dallas Fire Department. Highway 25 was briefly closed to traffic.
The fire later rekindled Saturday night, prompting firefighters to respond again.
Details on the cause of the fire and damage to the residence was not immediately available.
