Marianne L. Koser

Marianne L. Koser, age 93, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Labor Day, September 6, 2026 in her home at Brentwood Assisted Living in Rice Lake.
Marianne was a music teacher in the Cumberland School district and a longtime resident of Almena.
Preceding her to heaven are her husband of 67 years, Bob Koser- just 5 years ago, her beloved daughter, Nancy Koser Johnston- 18 years ago, her parents, and her 4 sisters. She is survived by her brother John Taylor of Menomonie, her son, Tom Koser of Rice Lake, daughter Katy Koser Cairy of Burnsville, MN, son-in-law Jim Johnston of Birchwood, 8 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and many, many friends.
A Celebration Of Life service for Marianne Koser will be held Tuesday, September 22nd at Bethany Lutheran Church in Rice Lake at 11:00 a.m., with visitation from 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. the day the service, and burial at St. Matthews Cemetery in Almena.
