EAGAN, Minn. (AP) — Nobody who’s been around Max Brosmer from his youth in Georgia to his FCS success at New Hampshire to his lone season of Big Ten competition at Minnesota is surprised he made an NFL active roster as an undrafted rookie. Brosmer impressed the Vikings enough to land a spot as likely the No. 3 quarterback this year behind J.J. McCarthy and Carson Wentz. The coaching staff has been impressed by his dedication, coachability and intelligence. Brosmer visited his old team the Gophers for their season opener and even got a game ball for his impact on his successor Drake Lindsey.
