LADYSMITH, Wis. (WRN) — A person was found dead in rural Rusk County on Friday.
Sheriff Phil Grassmann said deputies were investigating an abandoned vehicle on Lea Lake Road, north of Ladysmith, when the registered owner, 29-year-old Jade Olson, of Stevens Point, was found deceased in a wooded area near the vehicle.
The sheriff said there was no danger to the public.
An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of Olson’s death.
