SHELL LAKE, Wis. (WJMC) — A Washburn County employee has been arrested on suspected possession of child pornography.
In a press release, the county board chair confirmed there was a county employee in custody, but said the county was not previously aware of the employee’s alleged actions.
The suspect was in the Washburn County Jail, held on six counts of possession of child pornography. Formal charges have yet to be filed in court, and the suspect is not yet being named.
