WisconsinEye, the now darkened public access channel which provided coverage of state government, has launched a GoFundMe campaign. In a video posted to YouTube, Wisconsin Eye program director John Schroeder says the goal is to raise three months of capital to operate.
“Our goal is to raise $250,000 so we can get back online and provide you this essential public policy resource,” Schroeder said.
WisconsinEye is also lobbying for money from the Wisconsin Legislature, which has set aside 10 million dollars in matching funding. You can find the link to the donation effort at WisEye.org.
