COMSTOCK, Wis. (WJMC) — A woman’s body was found following a residential fire in Comstock on Thursday afternoon.
Barron County Sheriff Jodi Kummet said firefighters and emergency responders were called to a mobile home fire in the 1800 block of Highway 63, in rural Comstock, just after 3:15 p.m. last Thursday. The fire was extinguished and the woman’s body was found inside the home, and identified as Dawn Allen, 48, of Comstock.
The fire was under investigation by the sheriff’s department and state DOJ.
