Hunt Hill Nature Center will be hosting a Little Explorers program on Saturday, May 16. Each program consists of an exciting morning of stories, crafts, and nature activities geared towards 3–6 year olds; but all ages are welcome. This month’s topic is “Seeds & Sprouts”.
In May, Explorers will learn about seeds and sprouts, discovering how tiny seeds grow into plants and the importance of pollination in nature. Children will explore seed characteristics, observe sprouts, learn about plant life cycles, and paint and plant their own terracotta pot to bring home.
Guardians must stay for the duration of the program. Depending on the weather, we will be outside for a portion of this program. Please dress appropriately to be inside and outside in the weather.
Registration is not required, but strongly encouraged by Friday, May 15 at noon. The program fee is free, but donations are appreciated. If you register ahead of time, you must register yourself and your child(ren). For more information or to register, visit www.hunthill.org or call 715-635-6543.
