CHETEK, Wis. (WJMC) — Crews were searching Fish Lake in southwest Rusk County Saturday and Sunday for an apparent drowning victim.
A caller just before 9:30 p.m. Saturday said there was a possible drowning on Fish Lake, east of Chetek. There was an overturned kayak, but the caller did not see a person on the surface.
Authorities searched the lake late into the night and returned Sunday. No other information on the incident was immediately available.
