SIREN, Wis. (WJMC) — A Polk County man has been arrested for allegedly having inappropriate contact with a minor on social media.
Siren Police, along with Burnett and Polk county sheriff’s deputies, conducted a search warrant Wednesday morning at a residence in rural Luck. 45-year-old Mark J. Byers was arrested on preliminary charges of exposing a minor to sexually explicit materials, use of a computer to facilitate a child sex crime and child enticement.
He was booked in the Burnett County Jail. The investigation is ongoing and formal charges are pending.
