STANLEY, Wis. (NWN) — Three people were injured by an explosion in Stanley in Chippewa County on Monday evening.
Stanley Police Chief Lance Weiland said officers were called to a residence in the 700 block of Gilman Street, in Stanley. Two people were taken to the hospital by a private vehicle, and a third victim was treated at the scene for an injury to a lower extremity.
The nature of the explosion was not immediately released, but it occurred outside of the home. The incident was under investigation.
