MADISON, Wis. (WRN) — A polling company shuts down after fabricating results leading up to Wisconsin’s primary election.
A poll by Median Strategies claimed Madison Democrat Francesca Hong had a 23-point lead over Democrat David Crowley of Milwaukee who ended up winning by just over 3 thousand votes. It turns out the poll by Median Strategies was bogus and created as a social experiment. It kind of fell flat in Wisconsin as most media here didn’t use those numbers that actually were pretty close to the legitimate polls.
Median Strategies however has created a fuss in LA’s upcoming mayoral run-off, predicting a big win for Incumbent Karen Bass which the Bass campaign posted on their website. It’s since been removed.
