HAYWARD, Wis. (WJMC) — A driver is dead after her vehicle rolled in the ditch on County Highway B, east of Hayward on Friday morning.
Sawyer County Sheriff Doug Mrotek said 26-year-old Anjeni S. Del Real was driving east on County Highway B when her Honda CRV left the road at a slight left curve in the road. The Honda struck a driveway, causing it to flip and then strike several trees.
The sheriff said the woman’s iPhone issued an automatic crash alert to 911, just after 8:30 a.m. on Friday. Del Real was the only occupant and died at the scene.
The crash was under investigation.
