BALSAM LAKE, Wis. (WJMC) — The name has been released of the motorcycle rider killed in a crash on Monday.
The Polk County Sheriff’s Office named 23-year-old Dylan Schwerdtfeger, of Deer Park, as the victim.
He was driving south on Highway 65, near Bear Lake Drive, south of Balsam Lake on Monday morning when his bike lost control on a curve and crashed into a guard rail. Schwerdtfeger died at the scene.
