CHETEK, Wis. (WJMC) — Chetek’s Winter Fest is today and tomorrow.

On the lake today, there is the vintage snowmobile ride, hosted by the Chetek Snow Flyers club. The 30-mile ride starts at 10 a.m., at Red’s in Chetek. See the Chetek Snow Flyers page on Facebook for more info.
The Winter Fest pre-party is at Red’s this evening at 6 p.m.

Tomorrow, the main event on the lake kicks off. Admission is $5 for ages over 12, $1 for 5-12 and free for kids under 5.

There are breakfasts at Lake Country Marina and Lakeside Cantina in the morning. At 8 a.m. are the Vintage Sled Show and registration for the radar races. Racing starts at 9:30 a.m.

Kids pro racing is from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.

The Bikini Run snowmobile races are at 1 p.m. Proceeds and pledges to racers benefit Barron County’s Pink Ribbon Advocacy.

And the event wraps up with the awards ceremony at 6 p.m.
