TREGO, Wis. (WJMC) — A Hayward man arrested for a fifth OWI charge at a Trego bar after allegedly running over multiple road signs.
The State Patrol said 65-year-old Raymond J. Larson was arrested Sunday evening after a caller reported his vehicle had swerved all over the lanes of traffic and off the road on northbound Highway 53 and struck multiple road signs. The vehicle exited on to Highway 63 and stopped at a bar in Trego.
Troopers and Washburn County sheriff’s deputies located Larson exiting the vehicle and he allegedly showed signs of impairment.
He refused field sobriety tests and was arrested for OWI-fifth offense and was booked in the Washburn County Jail. He also faces charges of felony bail jumping, possession of THC and possession of drug paraphernalia.
