An Eau Claire will serve 10 years in federal prison for trafficking large amounts of methamphetamine.
Earlier this month, a federal judge sentenced 41-year-old Jason Bloedow. He pled guilty January 8 to a charge of possession of methamphetamine intended for distribution.
After selling methamphetamine to a confidential informant, Bloedow was stopped by police in April 2025 while traveling from Minnesota back to Wisconsin. In his vehicle was approximately two pounds of methamphetamine. He later admitted to selling approximately 28 pounds of the drug over three months, making $48,000 in profit.
Bloedow’s case was investigated by the DEA, West Central Drug Task Force and Dunn and Chippewa county sheriff’s offices.
