MADISON, Wis. (WRN) — Epic Systems wants to use AI to predict your future health.
The Verona-based maker of the MyChart health records system wants to scrape millions of patients’ medical data and let AI handle possible diagnosis. That announcement was part of Tuesday’s annual User Group Meeting at Epic.
Epic officials say using their own AI system will help keep patients and doctors from using Claude or ChatGPT, which are not secure for medical information.
