Birchwood American Legion’s Indoor Ice Fishing Contest and Soup Cook-off

Saturday February 28th, 2026. Indoor fishing contest and soup cook-off!
Sign up starting today at the post with the bartender for the soup cook-off. Soup samples will be free for voting. Then you can buy a bowl of your favorite soup for $5.
$5 entrance fee for the indoor ice fishing tournament. Buy a drink, draw a ticket. The tickets will have fish weights on them, but there will also be tickets for free drinks, snags, fish lost, and look out for the muskie! The person with the highest total weight at 5:00 p.m. wins.
There will be raffle and door prizes all day. Join us for a fun day off the ice!
