Hunt Hill Nature Center: Pints on the Prairie

Hunt Hill Nature Center will be hosting Pints on the Prairie on Saturday, August 16, 2025 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Join us for a laid-back afternoon of live music, refreshing brews, and tasty food. We’ll also have Wine Under the Pine for those who prefer grapes to hops. Each registered participant will receive their own stainless steel insulated tumbler, drinks, and a light meal. Participants must be at least 21 years old to attend.

Pints on the Prairie will feature local breweries for beer drinkers and a selection of wine for wine drinkers. Drinker participants will receive an 11-ounce stainless steel tumbler. Each brewery will have two beers available, and participants may choose to get a full pour of one beer or try each at a half pour. Breweries attending this year’s event include: Roundman Brewing (Spooner), Agonic Brewing (Rice Lake), Castle Danger (Two Harbors, MN) and TBD. Wine will be available to those who purchase a wine-drinker ticket. Nondrinker participants will receive a reusable cup for nonalcoholic refreshments. All participants receive snacks and a light meal included with admission.

In addition to great local brews, the event will also feature live music by Blu Kanu, a sibling acoustic duo with great harmonies, fun banter, and crowd-pleasing music!  Participants are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets to lounge while enjoying the music and brews.

Funds raised from this event support Hunt Hill, a nonprofit nature preserve and learning center. Tickets can be purchased online. Walk-ins on the day of the event are welcome until tickets sell out. Drinker tickets (beer or wine) are $30 and include a stainless steel tumbler, drinks, food and live music. Non-drinker tickets are $15 and include a cup, nonalcoholic drinks, food and live music.
