Nature’s Edge Therapy Center: Volunteer Open House

Nature’s Edge Therapy Center invites community members to attend a Volunteer Open House on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the center’s 65-acre ranch located at 2523 14 ¾ Avenue, Rice Lake, WI 54868.

This special event is designed for individuals interested in learning more about volunteer opportunities and how they can make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and adults receiving therapy services. Guests will have the chance to tour the facility, meet the therapy animals, and learn how Nature’s Edge integrates a unique nature-based setting into medically prescribed therapy services.

Attendees will also observe and participate in a sidewalking demonstration, an important volunteer role in equine-assisted therapy sessions that helps provide support and safety for patients riding horses during treatment. No prior horse experience is required for many volunteer positions, and training opportunities will be provided.

Nature’s Edge Therapy Center has served the region since 2001, helping individuals gain greater independence through therapy in a supportive environment that includes horses, farm animals, and outdoor experiences. Volunteers play a vital role in helping the nonprofit continue its mission and meet the growing needs of local families.

Community members ages 12 and older are welcome to attend. Those interested are encouraged to RSVP in advance.
