WISCONSIN DELLS, Wis. (WRN) — Governor Tony Evers plans to stay retired once his term ends next year.
Evers discussed his retirement plans Monday at the Wisconsin Counties Association Annual conference in the Dells.
“My goal in retirement isn’t to come out of retirement. I am going to spend as much time as I can. I’m hoping to some volunteering and food banks across the state and also Kathy and I want to make sure we’ve got to every State Park,” Evers said.
Evers also said he doesn’t plan to endorse a candidate in the Democratic primary for governor.
