BALSAM LAKE, Wis. (WJMC) — A man is dead after a deer and ATV collision in Polk County.
The Sheriff’s Office said the ATV was driving east on 150th Avenue, east of County Highway H, southeast of Balsam Lake, around 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, when it struck a deer. The rider was not wearing a helmet and suffered trauma from the crash. First responders found the man had died at the scene.
A name has not been released at this time.
