GRANTSBURG, Wis. (WRN) — A fatal crash at the intersection of Highway 70 and Johnson Road, near Grantsburg, on Saturday afternoon.
Burnett County Sheriff Tracy Finch said a sedan driver was slowing to turn off of Highway 70, just before 5 p.m. on Saturday. The sedan was rear-ended by an SUV. The sedan driver, a 69-year-old man from Burnett County, was injured and airlifted to North Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
The SUV driver and passenger were not injured. No names were not released and the crash was under investigation.
