LADYSMITH, Wis. (WRN) — A Ladysmith man is dead after a single vehicle crash Tuesday morning.
Sheriff Phil Grassmann said the crash was reported just before 4:45 a.m. Tuesday on Highway 8 at the intersection of Bell School Road, west of Ladysmith.
A truck crossed the centerline, entered the ditch and struck a driveway culvert, causing it to go airborne and strike a power pole. The driver, the only occupant, died at the scene. The victim was identified as 53-year-old Jason Davis, of Ladysmith.
The crash was under investigation by the Rusk County Sheriff’s Office.
