Last weekend’s Powerball drawing led to four big winners in Wisconsin.
Though no ticket took home the top prize Saturday night, four tickets in the state matched four of five numbers and the Powerball, leading to $50,000 winners in Elm Grove, Madison and Hartford. The remaining winning ticket sold in Janesville matched those same numbers and the Powerball but added the 3X multiplier option, earning that ticket $150,000.
Once again, no one matched all six numbers in Monday night’s $1.6 billion Powerball drawing. That means the jackpot for the Christmas Eve drawing will be an estimated $1.7 billion, the fourth largest in Powerball and U.S. lottery history.
