LADYSMITH, Wis. (WJMC) — A home donated to and renovated by Habitat for Humanity is now open for applications.
The organization says the two-bedroom, one and a half bath home in Ladysmith aims to promote home ownership for first-time buyers and support workforce housing in the area.
The application period is open through January 5. The home is not free and applicants must be able to secure independent first-mortgage financing of around $150,000, but Habitat may bring in other assistance to lower costs for eligible households.
