RICE LAKE, Wis. (NWN) — Drivers on Highway 48 will encounter road construction on bridges near Cumberland and Birchwood next week.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation says crews will be doing foam jacking work on the Hay River Flowage bridge in Cumberland, and on the Red Cedar Narrows bridge southwest of Birchwood. Traffic will remain open, with single lane closures and flagging operations.
The work will be done on Monday, and finish on Tuesday, if needed.
