LADYSMITH, Wis. (WJMC) — A fire destroyed a large shed and its contents in rural Rusk County, Saturday night.
Ladysmith Fire Chief Kyle Gibbs said his department was called out just after 9 p.m. on Saturday to Strom Road, southwest of Ladysmith, finding a 24 by 40 foot shed engulfed in flames. The shed and contents, including a car, boat and trailer, were a total loss amounting to about $150,000.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is not known at this time.
Ladysmith Fire was on scene for about 1.5 hours and were assisted by Bruce Fire, Rusk County Sheriff’s Office, Rusk County Ambulance and Jump River Electric.
