MINNEAPOLIS (AP / WJMC) — Storms with lightning and hail and at least two observed tornadoes moved through the upper Midwest Monday afternoon and evening.

A report from WQOW said a funnel cloud briefly touched down several times near Augusta.

The National Weather Service reported a tornado near Fairmont, Minnesota, on Monday afternoon. Damage reports were not immediately available.

The Barron County Sheriff’s Department reported isolated storm damage near Cumberland and Haugen, with downed trees and power lines. No injuries were reported.
