MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WRN) — The latest Marquette Law School Poll finds “We don’t like them.”
Poll Director Charles Franklin says that is the result from the latest Marquette Law School Poll regarding data centers in Wisconsin.
“And we don’t like them compared to where we were in October. So only 29% said that the benefits outweigh the costs of data centers. 70% say the costs outweigh the benefits,” Franklin said.
Franklin says there’s a partisan divide on the issue: 45% of Republican respondents feel the benefits of data center outweigh the costs, compared to just 24% of Independents and 15% of Democrats.
