BALSAM LAKE, Wis. (WJMC) — The name has been released of the teen killed in an UTV crash on Saturday in Polk County.
The Polk County Sheriff’s Office said 15-year-old Alexa Peterson, of rural Osceola, was killed when the UTV she was riding in rolled in a ditch. Neither the driver or Peterson were wearing seat belts or helmets.
The driver was injured and the passenger, Peterson, later died of her injuries at a hospital.
