EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WJMC) — UW-EC will have a new chancellor July 1.
The UW-System Board of Regents says Dr. Edwin Martini will be the university’s ninth chancellor. He currently serves as Provost and vice chancellor for academic affairs at UW-Oshkosh.
The former chancellor, Dr. James Schmidt, resigned last year for a position at James Madison University, in Virginia, and Provost Mike Carney served as interim chancellor.
Rice Lake’s UW-EC-BC campus has been a branch of UW-EC since 2018.
