CHANHASSEN, Minn. (WRN) — The first tornadoes of 2025 hit Wisconsin this week.

The National Weather Service confirmed that six twisters touched down across northern Wisconsin. Monday’s severe storms rolled in from southern Minnesota and intensified, with three EF-1 twisters and an EF-0 in Eau Claire County, and two EF-0 tornadoes in Shawano County.

There was damage to buildings and downed trees and utility poles, but no injuries or deaths.
