BRUCE, Wis. (WJMC) — The human remains found in a wooded area of northwest Rusk County have been identified.

Rusk County Sheriff Phil Grassmann said a forensic pathologist from the Wisconsin DOJ confirmed the remains were that of Seth Miller, of Ladysmith. Miller, 35 years old at the time, had been reported missing on July 8 of last year when his vehicle was found near the intersection of Dearhamer Road and Sentinal Ash Road, northwest of Bruce.

Earlier this month, his remains were found by a forester in a wooded area off of Bihlmeyer Road, approximately a mile away from where his vehicle was found.
