Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Jackson Chourio likely will head to the injured list after hurting his hamstring earlier this week. Brewers president of baseball operations Matt Arnold says the Brewers want to be cautious and “it’s probably going to be a little bit longer than we initially anticipated.” Chourio didn’t play Wednesday in a 10-3 loss to the Chicago Cubs after exiting in the fifth inning of a 9-3 victory a night earlier. He hurt himself while running out a triple. The Brewers said afterward he had a spasm in his right hamstring.

GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — Green Bay Packers linebacker Isaiah Simmons wonders whether his ability to play multiple positions may have worked against him at previous stops. After trying to fill multiple roles during his first five seasons, the No. 8 overall pick in the 2020 draft hopes he has found a home with his new team. Simmons has alternated between linebacker and defensive back without really thriving at either spot. After playing primarily linebacker with the Arizona Cardinals his first three seasons, Simmons spent more time in the secondary the last two years with the New York Giants.
