(Milwaukee, WI) – Milwaukee’s Freddy Peralta extended his scoreless innings streak to 29, three shy of the team record Teddy Higuera set in 1987, but it wasn’t enough as the Brewers fell to the Phillies 2-0 Thursday afternoon. The Brewers had two runners on with nobody out in the fourth and sixth innings, but Phillies starter Ranger Suarez worked his way out of both jams. Milwaukee was 0 for 10 with runners in scoring position. The Brewers open a three-game series at Pittsburgh Friday.

Maya Moore and Sylvia Fowles helped lead Minnesota to WNBA greatness as part of the Lynx dynasty that won four titles in seven years. Now the two will enter the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame this weekend when they are enshrined as part of the 2025 class, along with Sue Bird. Moore and Fowles will join former teammates Lindsay Whalen and Seimone Augustus, who are already in the Hall of Fame. It’s the first time that four players from the same WNBA team will be in the Hall of Fame. The Boston Celtics hold the record with nine players from their 1962-63 NBA championship team in the Hall.
