(Minneapolis, MN) — A 16-3 loss at Minnesota Sunday means the Packers end the season and enter the playoffs on a four-game losing streak. Very few starters took the field against the Vikings. Green Bay’s top offensive player may have been punter Daniel Whelan, who averaged nearly 54 yards on eight kicks. The Packers took a timeout with one second remaining so Brandon McManus could kick a field goal and avoid a shutout. Green Bay travels to Chicago to take on the Bears in the first round of the postseason next weekend.

CANTON, Ohio (AP) — Kaleb Blaha threw a touchdown pass and added two rushing TDs to help Wisconsin-River Falls beat defending national champion North Central 24-14 to win the first Division III title in program history. North Central, which has appeared in six consecutive Stagg Bowls and has won three titles in that span, had its 29-game win streak snapped. The Cardinals lost for the first time since a 38-37 loss to Cortland in the 2023 title game. Blaha was 27-of-41 passing for 291 yards and added 126 yards rushing. Blaha has 6,189 total yards this season, breaking Joe Burrow’s NCAA all-divisions single-season record of 6,039 yards in 2019 for LSU. UWRF, which advanced to the postseason for the first time since 1996, has won 11 games in a row.

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Justin Jefferson finally passed the 1,000-yard mark in the last game of the season for the Minnesota Vikings. Jefferson hit the milestone on his fifth catch on Sunday against the rival Green Bay Packers after a simple hitch route he turned into a 17-yard gain. The four-time Pro Bowl wide receiver has reached 1,000 yards in each of his six NFL seasons. The only other players in league history to do so were Randy Moss and Mike Evans. Jefferson already has the most receiving yardage all time over a player’s first six years.

(Sacramento, CA) — The Bucks won for the third time in the four games they had Giannis Antetokounmpo in the lineup after his long absence. The 6-11 veteran scoring machine put up 37 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in Sunday’s 115-98 win at Sacramento. Kevin Porter Junior scored 25. Milwaukee improved its record to 16-and-20 with a game against the Golden State Warriors coming up Wednesday.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Anthony Edwards scored 35 points, Julius Randle added 22, and the Minnesota Timberwolves completed a season sweep of the Washington Wizards with a 141-115 rout. CJ McCollum had 20 points to lead Washington, which at 9-25 has the second-worst record in the Eastern Conference. Rudy Gobert had 18 points and 14 rebounds for his 15th double-double of the season for Minnesota, which outscored Washington 76-48 in the paint. Minnesota had its third 140-plus-point game of the season, while the Wizards allowed 140-plus for the fourth time.

(Storrs, CT) — Sunday’s 73-57 defeat on the road at UConn means Marquette has started the Big East Conference season 0-and-4 for the first time in 27 years. The Golden Eagles have dropped six games in a row overall. Four players missed the game for coach Shaka Smart’s team. Nigel James led the scoring with 13 points, and Chase Ross had 11. Marquette will host Xavier Wednesday night.

(Madison, WI) — The Badgers started hot, hit nine of their first 12 shots, but couldn’t sustain it in an 89-73 loss to Purdue Saturday night. Nick Boyd led the scoring with 24 points, and Nolan Winter had 18 to go with a dozen rebounds. The Boilermakers built a 25-point lead with just over eight minutes to go, but Wisconsin cut it to 84-73 over the next five minutes. The Badgers don’t play until next weekend when they host UCLA on Saturday.
