(Glendale, AZ) — Micah Parsons had a career-high three sacks to go with four tackles for loss and five quarterback hurries in the Packers’ 27-23 win at Arizona Sunday. Josh Jacobs scored the game-winning touchdown with a minute-50 to go. Jacobs was sick but played anyway, scoring two TDs for the third game in a row. The Packers struggled on offense and trailed 13-6 at halftime. The team’s flight to Phoenix was delayed five hours Saturday. Kicker Lucas Havrisik was good on a franchise-record 61-yard field goal. Green Bay is back in action Sunday at Pittsburgh.
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Jalen Hurts gave his lagging offense a jolt by throwing for 326 yards and three touchdowns, Jalyx Hunt returned an interception for a score, and the Philadelphia Eagles rebounded from back-to-back losses by hanging on to beat the Minnesota Vikings 28-22 on Sunday. Hurts went 19 for 23 in the highlight-reel revival of the passing attack that helped the Eagles win the Super Bowl last season. He hit A.J. Brown for two touchdowns and DeVonta Smith for a career-high 183 receiving yards that included a 79-yard score. Carson Wentz was picked off twice on an erratic afternoon for the Vikings.
TORONTO (AP) — Vladimir Guerrero Jr. hit his sixth home run this postseason, rookie Trey Yesavage struck out seven in 5 2/3 innings and the Toronto Blue Jays forced a Game 7 in the American League Championship Series by beating the Seattle Mariners 6-2. The series will be decided Monday night in Toronto, the second Game 7 in Blue Jays history. Toronto lost to Kansas City in the 1985 ALCS. Seattle, the only big league team without a pennant, will play in a Game 7 for the first time. The winner faces the NL champion Los Angeles Dodgers in the World Series beginning Friday. Addison Barger homered and drove in three early runs, and the Blue Jays turned three double plays behind Yesavage — two of them to escape bases-loaded jams.
(Madison, WI) — The Badgers were shut out for the second straight game Saturday by a 34-0 score. The one-sided loss was the first time Wisconsin went scoreless in two straight games since 1977. The losing streak has reached five in a row, and the margins haven’t been close. The Badgers’ leading tackler, linebacker Christian Alliegro, broke his arm in the first half but stayed on the field. Wisconsin plays at Oregon next Saturday.

Antetokounmpo tells Eurohoops-dot-net he and his teammates are going to be dangerous this season. He’s starting his 13th season in Milwaukee Wednesday night at home against the Washington Wizards. The two-time MVP is anticipating “the warmest welcome ever” for his long-time friend and former teammate, Khris Middleton. He calls Middleton a “friend for life.”
(Milwaukee, WI) — Despite setting a franchise record for wins, some roster changes are on the way for the Brewers. Multiple reports on Sunday indicate Milwaukee’s front office is willing to trade pitching staff ace Freddy Peralta. He won 17 games and put up a 2-point-70 earned run average. Sports Illustrated is reporting that also likely on the way out, is veteran starter Brandon Woodruff. He’s expected to opt out of his contract and, despite dozens of missed starts due to injury, Woodruff should receive some high-dollar offers. The Brewers are not expected to match them.
