(Chicago, IL) — The Packers played without their starters on the field in Sunday’s 16-3 loss at Minnesota. Not so, for the Chicago Bears. Head coach Ben Johnson played all of his top players in a 19-16 loss. Sports Illustrated reports that when Johnson was asked, he said: “Some teams, they rest their starters. We don’t. We play football.” He did express his respect for this week’s playoff opponents at Soldier Field.

The Green Bay Packers believe their lack of momentum heading into the postseason shouldn’t make much of a difference now that they’re in the playoffs. They lost their last two regular-season games last year and then fell at Philadelphia in the wild-card round. They ended this regular season on a four-game skid and now head to Chicago for a wild-card playoff game Saturday night.

The number of NFL head coach firings stands at six. They were Brian Daboll of the New York Giants and Brian Callahan of the Tennessee Titans.
