GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — Offensive lineman Elgton Jenkins and edge rusher Rashan Gary were the two longest-tenured Packers on Green Bay’s roster last season. Neither will be with the team in the 2026 season. The Packers released Jenkins on Monday after a seven-year run in which he showcased his versatility while earning two Pro Bowl selections. The Packers also are trading Gary to the Dallas Cowboys for a 2027 fourth-round pick. The Packers selected Gary in the first round and Jenkins in the second round of the 2019 draft.
(Milwaukee, WI) — The Phoenix Suns will be missing two starters when they show up at the Fiserv Forum tonight (Tuesday) to take on the Bucks. Dillon Brooks and Mark Williams are listed as out for the game. A calf strain could keep Jordan Goodwin on the bench, but he is listed as questionable, along with Grayson Allen. Giannis Antetokounmpo and Kyle Kuzma missed Milwaukee’s 130-91 lopsided loss to Orlando Sunday. Both are expected to be back.
Pregame at 6:30pm. Tipoff at 7pm on AM1240 & 96.5FM
(Madison, WI) — A weekend sweep at Penn State clinches a game on home ice for the Wisconsin men’s hockey team, but it didn’t produce much in the polls. In fact, the Nittany Lions dropped more than the Badgers gained. This week’s USCHO poll finds Wisconsin up one spot to number ten. Penn State dropped four. The good work on the road means the Badgers will be at home Wednesday night for their first-round game against Ohio State.
(Phoenix, AZ) — Jake Bauers blasted his third home run of the spring, but it wasn’t enough to keep the Brewers from dropping a 4-3 game to the Los Angeles Dodgers. Bauers is 9-for-17 so far, and he’s also walked five times. Milwaukee got run-scoring hits from infielders Greg Jones and Ethan Murray. Shane Drohan took the loss. The Brewers are off today (Tuesday) before playing the Reds next.
Aaron Judge hit a two-run homer and Roman Anthony added a three-run drve in a big third inning to lead the United States to a 5-3 win over Mexico in the World Baseball Classic at Houston’s Daikin Park. The U.S. improved to 3-0 and will meet Italy on Tuesday night, seeking to secure a spot in the quarterfinals in Houston this weekend. Jarren Duran homered twice for Mexico, which will face Italy Wednesday night in the last game of Group B play. Reigning NL Cy Young Award winner Paul Skenes allowed one hit and struck out seven in four innings for the U.S.
